    • Diversion on the 840

      25th Sep 2026 - 1st Oct 2026

      Due to road works at Briggswath, we won't be able to serve Briggswath and Ruswarp from the 25th September to 1st October.

    • Church St Norton Closed

      21st Sep 2026 - 11th Oct 2026

      Due to the closure of Church St in Norton we are unable to serve Norton

      -843 from Malton to Scarborough will be diverting via Old Malton
      Stops missed: Commercial St, Norton Library, Mauden Grove & Norton Stud
      Alternative stop: Malton Bus Station

      -843 from Scarborough to Malton will be running on its normal route - no diversion

      This is expected to be in place for around 2 weeks

      Please plan your journey accordingly

    • Not possible to use the stop on the Coastliner 840 & Coastliner 843

      23rd Jul 2026 onwards

      Due to roadworks in York, at Mount Vale Road, Coastliner 840 & 843 and the no 40 bus will not be able to reach The Mount bus stop towards Leeds

      Alternative stops: Mount Vale Bus Stop & Blossom Street

      This is in place until further notice

      7th Sep 2026 onwards

      Due to roadworks along the route of 840 near Kirby Misperton roundabout & Habton Bridge, Coastliner are experiencing delays on all journeys

    • Delays on the Coastliners

      16th Sep 2026 onwards

      Due to road works starting at Claxton Crosswords, the 840 and 843 may suffer severe delays.
      There are also road works at Broken Bridge also causing traffic issues
